Fourteen runners took to the streets of New York City to support the bleeding disorders community during the 2019 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon in March. They also raised $28,522 to support NHF programs and services.
Team NHF members included high school senior Zach Oatley, of North Canton, Ohio, who was the team’s fastest runner, finishing in 1 hour, 33 minutes.
“Team NHF is an example of the strength of the bleeding disorders community,” says NHF CEO Val D. Bias. “Every step they took is a testament to what we can achieve not only personally, but also by banding together for a common goal.”
