National Hemophilia Foundation CEO Val D. Bias and New York City nightlife photographer Patrick McMullan called attention to women’s bleeding disorders on New York City’s Fox 5's Good Day program on Tuesday, March 29.

McMullan highlighted Victory for Women, NHF’s women’s health and blood disorders initiative. McMullan’s sister, Doreen McMullan McCarthy, died in 1979 from complications of von Willebrand disease not adequately treated at the time.

Bias invited viewers to NHF's Inaugural Spring Soiree, a fundraiser in New York City at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers on Thursday, April 7, from 6 to 8:30 pm. Learn more about sponsorship, tickets or donations.
